The OMACS Test Center has the necessary certified equipment for conducting electrical tests:

• tests with increased voltage of industrial frequency up to 400 kV;
• measurement of the level of partial discharges (interference level less than 2 pCl) at voltages up to 400 kV;
• measurement of capacitance and tangent of the dielectric loss angle at voltages up to 400 kV;
• pulse voltage test up to 1.6 MV, including cut-off pulse;
• checking the leakage path of the external isolation;
• direct current resistance measurement;
• current tests (heating, long-term modes) up to 5 kA;
• testing of external insulation with industrial frequency voltage in the rain and in salt fog conditions;
• stress testing of tracking erosion resistance;

Electrical tests are carried out at the Electrical Test area and the Long-term Test area.
The Test Center provides round-the-clock online monitoring of electrical tests by to specially developed software.
At the request of the Customer, it is possible to organize inspection control by foreign partners of the Test Center:

• DNV (KEMA, Netherlands)
• CESI (Italy)
• DEKRA (Netherlands)

with the subsequent preparation of both the Russian and foreign test protocol of the European accredited laboratory.
It is possible to conduct combined tests (so-called Combo-test) of one test object for compliance with different standards at the same time. Such tests allow the Customer's products to meet different requirements (and sometimes different countries), optimizing the cost of testing.

The OMACS Test Center has the necessary equipment, measuring instruments and methods for conducting physical and mechanical tests:

• checking the construction;
• checking geometric parameters;
• determination of the mechanical properties of materials before and after aging;
• determination of the mechanical properties of materials under the influence of negative and elevated temperatures;
• testing of materials for tension, compression, bending, hardness, adhesion;
• identification of materials;
• determination of the degree of degassing and the presence of by-products;
• water permeability test;
• measuring the resistance of materials;
• end other tests.

Physico-mechanical tests are carried out on samples (fragments) of products in the Laboratory of Physico-mechanical Tests.

The OMACS Test Center has special equipment for conducting the following climatic tests:

• tests for resistance to high and low temperatures;
• tests for heat and moisture resistance;
• testing in rain and fog conditions.
